Ceremonies honoring veterans will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Havre’s Town Square.
There will be brief ceremonies and a 21-gun salute to deceased veterans, said Bill Bilger, the commander of Havre’s Veterans of Foreign Wars.
There will be no special guest speaker this year, he said.
The ceremonies will take place at the wall on 1st Street and 3rd Avenue honoring deceased veterans.
Following the ceremonies at Town Square, proceeding will move to the Elks Club, where Scott Prindleton, the VFW quartermaster, will make a brief presentation.
Elks Club members will perform their traditional flag ceremony.
Guests will then be provided a beef stew lunch.
After lunch, the honor guard will go to Highland Cemetery to offer a 21-gun salute to fallen veterans.
(An earlier version of this story inaccurately stated the ceremonies would be Thurday.)
