Three Hi-Line football teams are headed to the state semifinals next Saturday. The Havre Blue Ponies trounced Columbia Falls 47-13 Saturday in Blue Pony Stadium and will advance to the Class A semifinals, where they'll face Dillon next Saturday in Dillon.
In Class C, the Chinook Sugarbeeters won a barn-burner Saturday in Chinook, defeating the Ennis Mustangs 36-30. Chinook will trip to Fairview next Saturday for a shot at the state championship game. Chester/J-I lost a heartbreaker at Twin Bridges Saturday.
In the Six-Man semifinals, Box Elder crushed Custer-Hysham in Custer, and will travel to Hot Springs for a semifinal game next Saturday.
