Havre Police Department

Jason Herron, 36, of Havre was arrested on charges of criminal child endangerment, endangering the welfare of children, reckless driving, aggravated driving under the influence, failure to carry proof of vehicle insurance, wrong way driving and turning when unsafe to do so, during a motor vehicle stop at 7:09 p.m. Tuesday on 2nd Street. Officers were alerted to the driver, by a caller who reported at 7 p.m. a drunken driver going the wrong way down the one way on 2nd Street, driving on the curb and clipping a mirror on another vehicle.

Bing William Ahenakew, 34, of Rocky Boy was arrested on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license, during a motor vehicle stop on 5th Avenue Tuesday at 7:39 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies arrested Ryan Andrew Brandt, 23, of Havre on a Justice or City court warrant served to him at 11:43 a.m. Tuesday on 77th Avenue West.

Deputies investigated a theft reported from Havre's north side Tuesday at 3:39 p.m.

Diane Lowry, 53, of Havre was issued a summons on a charge of theft after deputies were called to a U.S. Highway 2 West business after security reported catching an employee stealing.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to three calls Tuesday.

Fire crews responded to one fire call Tuesday that turned out to be lint buildup in a dryer vent that got hot enough to start smoking. The lint was cleaned out and no damage was done to the appliance or the home, said Chief Tim Hedges, who added that it is a good reminder to people to keep their lint traps and vent hoses cleaned out.
