Dakotarose Corrina Greshock, 20, of Havre was arrested on charges of shoplifting, disorderly conduct and violation of conditions of release after officers responded to a 12:19 p.m. Friday call from a 1st Street business about a shoplifter.

Betty Ranes, 54, of Havre was arrested on a charge of aggravated driving under the influence after officers investigated a 10:18 p.m. Friday call from 6th Street and 7th Avenue about a two-vehicle noninjury motor vehicle crash between a silver Fusion and white pickup.

John Morious Damson, 42, of Havre was arrested on a charge of DUI, wrong way driving and failure to carry or produce proof of insurance after an officer made a motor vehicle stop on 3rd Street.

Ian Blaine McCarty, 35, of Havre was arrested on a charge of violation of conditions of release and William Bernard Hobbins, 28, of Havre was arrested on a charge of probation violation after officers investigated a 12:44 a.m. Sunday call from a 1st Street establishment about two men in a bar, one of which was on probation and one on conditions of release.

Nathan Keith Washington, 20, of Havre was arrested on a charge of “other” at the police station at 9:02 a.m. Sunday.

Officers investigated a 2:41 p.m. Sunday call from 6th Street about a man and son walking with their black dog when the dog bit the calling party's daughter and the owner refused to stop and talk to him about it.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies investigated a 3:39 p.m. Friday call from a U.S. Highway 2 West business about a shoplifter heading toward town in a Chevrolet Suburban.

Deputies investigated a 3:12 p.m. Friday call from the old radar base about several tools being taken from the farm and shop.

Deputies investigated a 2:53 a.m. Sunday call from Beaver Creek Highway about a man who was laying in the road before he got up and dove into some weeds.

Someone was arrested after deputies responded to a 7:58 p.m. Sunday call from 11th Street North about the calling party’s husband assaulting her.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to four calls Friday and two calls Saturday.

Animal Shelter

A black and white male cat, an orange male cat with a red collar, a black female kitten, a black and white male cat and a black and white male Husky were placed in the animal shelter.

Births

A girl was born to Jessica Denny and Henry “Tommy” Standing Elk of Fort Belknap and Riverton, Wyoming on Aug. 28, 2015.
