Pachyderm Club brings property tax official to Havre

The North Central Pachyderm Club announced that the speaker for its meeting Friday, Aug. 21, is Jason Boggess, the Northern Montana regional manager for the Montana Department of Revenue. Boggess will discuss the six-year reappraisal process for property taxes and the plan to go to the two-year reappraisal. He will answer any questions concerning these processes for any local citizens. There will be a no-host buffet luncheon at noon in the Duck Inn Vinyard Room. The public is invited to attend.

The North Central Pachyderm Club is a civic organization with the purpose of informing the public and interested citizens of various civic issues and/or candidates running for office. It is a non-political group dedicated to “promoting active citizen involvement & education in government and politics through the formation and support of grassroots clubs across America.” Any and all are urged to attend this informative meeting.
