Havre Police Department

Officers investigated an 11:26 a.m. Tuesday report at the police station about a vehicle that was scratched in the parking lot of a dentist office the day prior and the complainant wanted an officer to check the damage and see if it needed to be reported.

Officers investigated an 11:59 p.m. Tuesday call from 6th Street about the calling party reporting someone smashed his solar light.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Someone was arrested after deputies investigated a 1:10 p.m. Tuesday call from a U.S. Highway 2 West business about a theft.

Maggie Margaret Arkinson, 26, of Box Elder was arrested on charges of driving without insurance and operating a motor vehicle without valid registration and on two Justice or City court warrants after a deputy made a motor vehicle stop at 12:04 a.m. today on Main Street in Box Elder.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Tuesday and one this morning.

Animal Shelter

A male black Weimaraner Labrador-mix puppy was placed in the shelter Aug. 17, a male black and tan terrier-mix July 4 and a male black and brown small mix-breed dog July 20.
