Officers investigated a car crash between a semitrailer and a four-runner reported Monday on 1st Street at 2:18 p.m.

A woman asked staff at Northern Montana Hospital to call police at Monday 3:38 p.m. after she said her vehicle had been broken into. Police investigated the incident.

Officers arrested Lawrence Wade Russell, 53, of Box Elder in the alley between 2nd and 3rd streets Monday at 4:30 p.m. on charges of failing to carry proof of insurance and parking on a roadway and on two Justice or City court warrants.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Deputies responded to an 11:50 a.m. Monday call from U.S. Highway 2 near mile marker 362 about a tractor-trailer trying to pass a wide load and possibly causing a wreck.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Monday.
