Daines reps coming to area

Press release

Sen. Steve Daines, R-Mont., announced members of his staff will be holding “mobile office hours” in north-central Montana in the coming weeks.

A representative from Daines’ Montana offices will be at the Blaine County Library at 94 4th Street in Chinook Tuesday, Aug. 11 from 10a.m. to noon, and a representative will be at the Liberty County Library at 100 First Street East in Chester Wednesday, Aug. 12, also from 10 a.m. to noon.

Daines said this year his staff will regularly hold office hours in all of the counties in the state so area constituents can meet with Daines’ staff and communicate their ideas and concerns in person.

“It is an honor to represent one of the largest states in our nation, and it’s my priority to ensure that all Montanans have access to our team and are able to communicate with our offices on a personal level,” Daines said in press releases announcing the office hours in Chinook and Chester. “Holding mobile office hours throughout all 56 Montana counties will ensure that our team is able to readily serve all Montanans and all communities across our state.”

Information regarding upcoming mobile office hours will be regularly announced to local communities. Daines’ staff has held mobile office hours in Stanford, Lewistown, Dillon, Livingston, Butte, Havre, Cut Bank and Anaconda.

Montanans interested in attending the upcoming Chinook or Chester office hours or looking for more information about the office hours can contact Alison Vergeront at 406-453-0148.
