Obituary - Glen A. Kulbeck

Glen A. Kulbeck, 68, died of natural causes at the Big Sandy Medical Center on Tuesday, July 28.

A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at the Christ Lutheran Church in Big Sandy. Burial of ashes with military rites will be 6 p.m. Saturday at the Kenilworth Cemetery south of the Kulbeck farm.

Arrangements are by Rockman Funeral Chapel, Chester. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Christ Lutheran Church, Big Sandy Volunteer Fire Department, or donor's choice.

Glen was born Nov. 19, 1946, in Havre to Marshall and Emma Kulbeck. He grew up and received his education in the Big Sandy community. He served in the U.S. Air Force from 1964-68, then returned to the family farm.

Glen married Penny Courtnage in 1968 and they had two children. His second marriage was to Vicki Vasecka in 1983.

His hobbies included music, electronics, hunting and motorcycles. Glen will be remembered for his hospitality and good sense of humor.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a sister, Beverly Ophus.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Vicki Kulbeck of Big Sandy; four children, DeAnne (Steve) Smith of Bozeman, Roger (Carol) Kulbeck of Graham, Washington, Dustin (Krystyl) Kulbeck of Big Sandy and Kris (Kasey) Kulbeck of Bozeman; two grandchildren, Hudson and Kaiana Smith; one brother, Marshall (Shirley) Kulbeck of Big Sandy; and two sisters, Marcia (Fred) Kaste of Great Falls and Lois Sostarich of Green Valley, Arizona.
