A Box Elder man who was convicted in connection to a murder was sentenced to another term in prison for violating his probation.
Jordan Charles Demontiney was sentenced to five months custody with 44 months of supervised release after using alcohol and methamphetamines during his probationary period after serving his first sentence for second-degree murder.
He was sentenced to 11 months custody and 49 months of supervised release in an earlier revocation. “Within approximately two months of releasing from custody, the defendant tested positive for alcohol consumption on two occasions,” a court document reads. He was then enrolled in mental health and substance abuse counseling through White Sky Hope Center in Box Elder.
Demontiney was convicted of second-degree murder after, at the Williamson Range Dump Site in Rocky Boy’s Indian Reservation, he and another man killed Alton Boyd Alexander June 18, 2004, “with malice and aforethought.”
