Elizabeth "Betty" Mae Springer, 76, who lived in the Kremlin area for 55 years, passed away Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at Northern Montana Care Center.
At her request, cremation has taken place. Graveside services for family will take place on Friday, July 24, 2014, at 11 a.m. at Highland Cemetery with Ila McClenahan officiating.

Betty was born on Sept. 28, 1939, in Whitefish, Montana, to Ralph and Eva Adams. She graduated from Havre High School and later became a switchboard operator. She met and then married Fred Springer on March 24, 1960. The couple moved to the Purdy farm near Kremlin. Later, they moved to a farm south of Kremlin where she lived until the time of her death.
Betty and Fred had three children, Kevin, Lisa and Cindy. Betty had many interests, among them cooking, gardening, painting, antiquing and reading.
She is preceded in death by her beloved Fred and her parents Ralph and Eva Adams
Betty is survived by her three children, Kevin (Lisa) Springer of Kremlin; Lisa Springer of McMinnville, Oregon, and Cindy (Jeff) Martin of Tacoma, Washington; and her eight grandchildren.
