Graduates from throughout the Hi-Line celebrated commencement ceremonies over the last two weeks. The type of ceremonies varied. In some schools, Pomp and Circumstance was played as students paraded in. At other schools, Indian honor music was performed. The ceremonies marked the beginning of a new phase of the students' lives. Speakers at each school elaborated on how the Class of 2015 had made its mark on the school and how the graduates would be remembered.
In two schools, graduation ceremonies marked the end of era. Superintendent Jay Eslick is retiring from Chinook schools after a 20-year run. Darrin Hannum, who has been at Box Elder for 11 years, is moving to Chinook.
