Local Golf Report: Beeters head to State C tourney

For many, golf season is just getting started. For others, this week is the culmination.

That is the case for the 2015 Chinook High School golf team. A handful of Sugarbeeters are playing today and Wednesday in the Class C state tournament in Shelby. The tournament is being played at the Marias Valley Golf Club in Shelby.

For the Chinook boys, Lane Seymour, Derek Bell, Ian McIntosh and Kade Friede qualified. For the Chinook girls, Jordan Surber and Allie Skoyen made the trip. Mike Seymour is Chinook’s head coach. So good luck to all the Beeters playing at state this week, and we’ll have comple...
