Schools' Havre Pride celebrates service to the district

The Havre Pride Celebration ceremony May 4 recognized employees of the district for outstanding work in the Havre Public Schools.

The 2015 Havre Public Schools teacher of the year is David Johnke, the band teacher at Havre High School.

The 2015 classified employee of the year is Melony Steckel, a bus driver for the district.

Each year, employees are nominated by their peers and then voted on. Classified employees vote for classified nominees and teachers vote for teachers....
