Havre Police Department

Officers investigated an 8:54 a.m. Monday call from Lincoln Avenue about a found red metal toolbox in the street.

Amanda Marie Schaub, 26, of Havre was issue a summons on a charge of nuisance dog or animal after officers responded to a 1:18 p.m. Monday call from 19th Street about barking dogs.

Officers investigated a 2:30 p.m. Monday complaint at the police station about someone opening a cellphone account under the complainant’s name.

Officers investigated a 2:47 p.m. Monday call from a 1st Street establishment about three boys taking something out of a truck parked at the establishment and taking off down the alley.

Larae Ann Sunchild, 33, of Havre was arrested on charges of resisting arrest, criminal contempt and obstructing a peace officer and Joshua James Arkinson, 30, of Havre was issued a summons on charges of obstructing a peace officer and violation of conditions of release after officers investigated a 9:27 p.m. Monday call from 2nd Street about a man in all black with a backpack possibly carrying a bat walking into the calling party’s yard, around her house and taking off down the alley.

Christopher Michael Anderson, 25, of Havre was arrested on a charge of possession of drug paraphernalia and on a Justice or City court warrant after an officers served him the warrant at 10:07 p.m. Monday on 14th Avenue.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

Ronette Rachelle Doney, 24, of Bismarck, North Dakota, was served a Justice Court warrant at 6:13 p.m. Monday at the Hill County Detention Center.

Deputies investigated an 8:43 p.m. Monday call from 2nd Street Northwest about vandalism.

Deputies investigated a 9:19 p.m. Monday call from 78th Avenue West about the calling party’s wife "going crazy" and choking him.

Havre Fire Department

Firefighters were called to the 500 Block of Highway 87 at 2:14 p.m. Monday to put out a grass fire. It was small and did not cause damage.

Firefighters were called to the 4900 Block of Beaver Creek Road at 4:30 p.m. Monday to help put out a controlled fire that got out of control. It was small and was caused by a wood pile that caught on fire. It was contained to the yard.

Animal Shelter

An orange male cat was placed in the shelter April 29, a black and white male mix-breed dog May 8 and an apricot male poodle May 8.
