The 2015 graduating class of Stone Child College walked the stage Friday and stepped off with new degrees with which they may pursue their careers.
A drum circle called the graduates, speakers and college board into the Little Bear Gymnasium Friday afternoon to celebrate the completion of college work by the students.
The keynote speaker, Father Peter Guthneck, spoke to the class about the trials and tribulations of life being overcome through sheer hard work and determination.
"Commence means to begin," Guthneck said at the commencement ceremony. "You're ready to take the next step in your life."
Sometimes modern life rips the nature out of us, Guthneck said, but those sitting in their caps and gowns utilized what was inside of them to pursue their dreams.
"Instead of being cynical, you chose the path of education," Guthneck said.
Valedictorian Danielle M. Vasquez said that college taught her a lot about life, especially to overcome fear.
"Be afraid, but do it anyway," Vasquez said to those gathered in the gymnasium.

Good job Father Pete. All these embezzlers and Crooks should honor your request to void your vote that you were talked into doing. This community knows that thats what happened that night at the voting, but they don't care as long as they can keep stealing. Anybody notice that the embezzlers were all at the Graduation.
