Tristan was born in Havre, Montana, on Jan. 2, 1997, to Adam and Shawna (Roppe) Billmayer. Tristan became an admired, compassionate big brother to three siblings: Ella, Sarah and Trent.
Tristan attended 12 years of school at Turner Public School and was just two weeks shy of receiving his high school diploma. While in school he participated in track and played basketball for the Tornadoes and then his senior year he joined the Wildcat football team. Tristan was the 2015 Homecoming King. Tristan was a Hoby delegate his junior year, an experience he enjoyed. He was a dedicated lifetime member of the Big Flat Catholic Church.
Tristan's contagious smile, witty charm and compassionate nature was felt by all who knew him and will forever be instilled in our hearts. His adventurous side led him to learning to fly with Uncle Scott, riding his dirt bike and occasionally riding his treasured vintage motorcycle from Grandpa Allen and hunting.
His love for his family was strong and constant. Ella was his best friend, Sarah was his mini me, and Trent was his little sidekick. Tristan loved shadowing his most admired person, his dad, around the farm. His mom was his biggest fan, advocate, and most of all the architect of his endearing character. Tristan was and will always be his mom's second first love. There was not a person too old or too small that he didn't give attention to whenever he walked into a room. He had a band of brothers who have endless stories and experiences that show all the wonderful qualities that made him an exceptional friend. Whenever friends or neighbors needed help he was there no matter the size of the task.
Tristan will be met in heaven by Grandpa Allen Billmayer, great-grandparents Papa Fred and Grandma Jean Mohar and Great-Grandpa Bud Hewitt and will be meeting for the first time his Grandpa Neil Roppe, Uncle Trent and Aunt Cassie Roppe.
Tristan is survived by his parents, Adam and Shawna; sisters, Ella and Sarah; brother, Trent; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Nancy Snider; paternal Granny Merrilyn Billmayer; paternal great-grandma, Ardis Hewitt; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and many lifelong friends.
