Patrick J. Buckman Jr., 46, passed away on Sunday, April 26, 2015, due to injuries sustained in a vehicle accident.
Wake services will begin at 5 p.m., Thursday, April 30, 2015, at the Red Whip Center in Fort Belknap and will continue until his funeral service, which will be at 11 a.m. on Friday, May 1, 2015, also at the Red Whip Center. Burial will be in the Buckman Family Cemetery.

Pat was born on Sept. 5, 1968, in Crow Agency, Montana, to Patrick and Ada (Smith) Buckman Sr. He was raised between Crow Agency and Fort Belknap in his younger years, attending school there. The family moved to Oregon while Pat was in high school, and he attended high school and Oregon State University in Portland, Oregon. Following his school years, he began working. Pat was proficient at almost anything he set his mind to, and it showed with him working as an auto mechanic, in computer technology and in masonry until an injury caused him to retire. After two previous marriages, he married Joey Pagaduan in December 2014 in Chinook.
Pat enjoyed beadwork, Native arts and crafts and reading. He was certified to do sweat lodges, and he loved to sweat. Pat spent all of his time with his beloved wife, and they did beadwork and made pipes for ceremonies together. He was a true artist.
He is preceded in death by his parents Patrick and Ada Buckman Sr .; and his sister, Monica Buckman.
