Quick Picks: Working in Havre to help the needy

Mary Smith of Mill Iron sews pouches out of hand towels Friday afternoon at St. Jude Parish Center. The customized towels will be used for personal kits consisting of soap, toothpaste and toothbrushes to be given out to homeless people or those in need. The work was part of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas state convention in Havre over the weekend.

Finished personal kits are stacked in a box, ready for distribution.
