Havre High School juniors just returned from Washington where they spent a week in the Close Up program. The Havre students toured the Capitol and met with members of Montana's congressional delegation, Sens. Jon Tester and Steve Daines and Rep. Ryan Zinke. Advisor Lindsey Manuel-McInerney, who traveled to Washington with the students, said starting the evening of April 20, the students were broken up into workshops and had program instructors the whole week. During their free time, the group toured the Newseum, White House and Holocaust Museum along with doing some monument sight-seeing.
