Havre Police Department

Officers investigated an 8:31 a.m. Thursday complaint at the police station about someone filing taxes with the complainant’s information.

Elmo Francis Bailey Jr., 49, of Havre was arrested on a state District Court warrant after an officer served it to him at 12:33 p.m. Thursday on Boulevard Avenue.

David Brian Gideon, 36, of Havre was issued a summons on two charges of possession of drug paraphernalia after officers responded to a 5:49 p.m. Thursday call from 5th Street about a marijuana smell and the sound of arguing coming from a basement at all times.

Austin Jayde Valencia, 18, of Box Elder was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault, disorderly conduct and minor in possession and Kodi Marie Bear, 20, of Havre was arrested on charges of partner or family member assault and disorderly conduct after officers responded to a 6:35 p.m. Thursday call from 18th Street about the calling party hearing a child crying and man yelling often.

Hill Country Sheriff’s Office

Robert Manuel Arellano, 33, of Havre was arrested on charges of disorderly conduct, obstructing a peace officer and resisting arrest after an deputy assisted a citizen at 8:33 p.m. Thursday on 5th Street North.

An arrest was made after deputies investigated a 2:27 a.m. call today from 6th Street North. No other information was given.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical personnel responded to two calls Thursday.

Firefighters were called to the 300 Block of 3rd Avenue at 9:07 a.m. to investigate a gas odor at Salvation Army but they could not smell anything. NorthWestern Energy was called to the site but could not detect anything.

Firefighters were called to the 4800 Block of 72nd Avenue West at 3:28 p.m. to address a branch that snaked a power line after one fell on them while someone was cutting trees. NorthWestern Energy came out and neutralized the line.
