Robert N. "Bob" Chvilicek, 77, a family man and respected educator, who was affectionately known as "Mr. C" by his students and staff, died on April 7, 2015, at the Liberty Medical Center in Chester.
Viewing will be Thursday, April 16, at Rockman Funeral Chapel in Chester. Family and friends will gather at 7 p.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Youth Center to share stories over coffee and cookies. Bob's funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Friday, April 17, at St. Mary's Catholic Church, and a reception will follow. After the services Bob will be cremated and his ashes will be buried at the Big Sandy Cemetery at a later date.
He is survived by three daughters, Amy (Mark) Hanson of East Helena, Rachel (Jim) Ghekiere of Chester and Rita Chvilicek of Turner; four grandkids, Kaitlin, Parker, Jennifer and Kimberli; one brother, Lawrence Chvilicek of Pendleton, Oregon; and in-laws, nieces and nephews.
Bob was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara; infant son Brian; and six siblings.
