Hannah Weber, Chinook Track
Chinook’s Hannah Weber certainly seems to like running on the Havre Middle School Track. In two meets this past week in Havre, Weber took home plenty of accolades. Weber won the Lions Havre Invite 1,600 meters (6:31.71) and 3,200 (13:48) Saturday afternoon, a rare sweep of the grueling distance races. She also finished third in both of those events at the annual Cal Wearley Invitational last Wednesday in Havre. Weber is coming off an All-Conference season on the basketball court as well for the Sugarbeeters.
Nate Rismon, Havre Track
Havre junior Nate Rismon had to miss the football season with a leg injury. But he’s making up for lost time. After an outstanding basketball season, Rismon has is dominating on the track. The Blue Pony sprinter had a big week in Havre as he captured the 200 meters with a time of 23:16 at last Saturday’s Lions Havre Invitational. He also finished third in the pole vault for the Ponies. Last Wednesday, in the Cal Wearley Invite, also in Havre, Rismon swept the 200 and 400 and was a part of the winning 400 relay team in both meets.
