Jeff Miller, Havre Tennis
Havre High junior Jeff Miller won his last tennis match of the 2014 season, the Class A state championship. Now, Miller is picking up right where he left off. The top singles player is 7-0 on the season through three meets, including last Saturday’s dominating performance at the Havre Invitational where he didn’t drop a single game on his way to three wins and the boys singles championship. It was Miller’s second straight Havre Invite title. He also stands out for the Blue Pony golf team and the Havre North Star baseball team.
Tatiana Ralph, Havre Tennis
Havre High senior tennis player Tatiana Ralph has gotten her season off to a strong start. And even with a tough loss in the championship match of the girls singles bracket at Saturday’s Havre Invitational tennis tournament, Ralph still looks sharp so far. Two weeks ago in Conrad, Ralph started her season with a win over the top player from Lewistown, then she cruised to two wins in a row at the Havre Invite before falling to Cut Bank’s Dakota Dosch in the championship. Ralph is a four-year varsity player for HHS, and was All-Conference as a junior.
