Obituary - Carol Marie Doney

Carol Marie Doney, 70, of Hays passed away on Saturday, April 4, 2015, at Northern Montana Care Center, surrounded by family and friends.

Wake services began at 5 p.m. and rosary at 7 p.m., on Monday, April 6, 2015, at St. Paul's Mission Rec Center in Hays and continued until her funeral Mass, which was at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 7, 2015,  at St. Paul's Mission Church. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Mission Center Cemetery. Carol was born on Dec. 25, 1944, a (Christmas baby) to Carl and Viola Doney (Grant) of Hays. She was a proud enrolled member of the Fort Belknap Reservation. She enjoyed bingo, waltzing and visiting family and friends, and driving around the canyon of Hays.

Carol was preceded in death by her husband, Wallace Doney; her son, Wallace (Wally) Grant Doney; her parents, Carl and Viola Grant and all her siblings.

She is survived by her daughter, Wallisa Doney; her six grandchildren, Eagle, Maxine, Trinity, Grant, Jaclyn and Lynn Rose, all of Hays; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
