News you can use
April 12 to 18 is National Volunteer Week.
The Havre Daily News plans on highlighting volunteers who perform services for Hi-Line communities.
We are looking for nominations of people who donate their time to help out civic groups. If you know of anyone who deserves special attention, we'd like to hear from you.
We are looking for people from the entire line of volunteers — people like youth coaches who go above and beyond, PTA moms, senior citizens who help out young students with school work, people who organize community activities, folks who have donated their time to churches, people who take part in community clean-up projects, people who mow the grass in small community parks, people who help out at blood drives, business people who do extra things for their communities.
We won't ever be able to honor all of the Hi-Line folks who help out their communities, but we will highlight five who represent a cross-section of the good people who help out their neighbors.
Got a nomination? Email it to [email protected] or call us a 265-6795, ext. 17.
