Filius finishes fifth at national tourney

Havre High sophomore, and two-time Class A state champion Parker Filius competed in a prestigious national wrestling tournament this past weekend in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Wrestling the sophomore division of the National High School Coaches Association Nationals this past weekend, Filius placed an outstanding fifth at 138 pounds. The Blue Pony standout competed with about 60 other 138-pounders on his way to reaching the podium and NHSCA All-American honors.

HHS Senior/Faculty Game set for Thursday

The annual Havre High Senior/Faculty charity basketball game will be held Thursday night at 7 p.m. inside the Havre High gymnasium. Admission to the game is $1 or one can of food. All proceeds from the contest will go to the Havre Food Bank
