Deputies investigated a report Wednesday at 5:42 p.m. at a U.S. Highway 2 business concerning theft, forgery and fraud. The calling party reported that a “young kid” around 19 to 20 years-old with curly hair and wearing a grey jacket cashed a stolen check for $320 and left headed toward Havre in a white Chevrolet mini van with four other people. In a related call at 1:08 a.m. today, a caller said the suspect had returned and was being held at the business. Two arrests were made, but no further information was provided.
