Lights add two grapplers

Montana State University-Northern head coach Tyson Thivierge recently announced the addition of two wrestlers to the 2015 MSU-N recruiting class.

The Lights signed both Billings Senior’s Quintel Fuchs and Colstrip’s Austin Blaede to NAIA national letters of intent. Fuchs was the Class AA 126-pound state champion this year. Blaede was the 170-pound State B-C titlist. Fuchs was 47-4 this season, while Blaede finished 39-7.

Blaede and Fuchs join Forsyth four-time Class B-C state champion Matt Weber as new signees to the Northern program from Montana. Weber, along with older brother Brandon, signed with the Lights back in December.

Havre High tennis coach George Ferguson is offering middle school tennis once again this spring. The session will begin Monday, April 6, and will run each Monday through May 4. Middle school tennis is open to boys and girls grades 6-8, and the cost is a donation of one can of tennis ball. Men's Golf League Meeting slated

The men's league at Prairie Farms Golf Course will be conducting its annual spring meeting April 2. The meeting will start at 7 p.m. at the Pro Shop at Prairie Farms. All teams participating in men's league this season should have a representative present at the meeting.
