Send off the Skylights

Montana State University-Northern and the Northern Alumni Foundation will be hosting a public send off for the MSU-Northern women's basketball team on Sunday afternoon.

The Skylights, who depart for the NAIA national tournament in Independence, Missouri Monday morning, will have several events on Sunday at the Armory Gymnasium.

The fun will start with a free basketball clinic from 1-2 2 p.m. for girls grades K-6. The first 100 girls will receive a free T-shirt.

At 2 p.m. Skylight players and coaches will address the public and sign autographs, while refreshments will be provided. They will then hold an open practice from 3-5 p.m.

The Skylights face Lindsey Wilson next Wednesday at 4:45 p.m. M.S.T. in Independence, Missouri.
