The American Red Cross will conduct six blood drives on the Hi-Line in coming weeks.
They include:
• Tuesday, March 3, 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., in Havre at Montana State University-Norther’s Student Union Building Ballroom.
• Wednesday, March 4, 2 to 6 p.m., Jerry Martin Memorial Hall, 166 Johannes Ave., Big Sandy.
• Thursday, March 5, 1 to 6 p.m., Our Saviors Lutheran Church, Main and Madison streets, Chester.
• Monday, March 9, noon to 5:30 p.m., Havre’s St. Jude Parish Center, 440 7th Ave.
• Tuesday, March 10, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., Northern Montana Hospital, 30 13th St., Havre.
• Thursday March 12, 9 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Triangle Communications, 2121 U.S. Highway 2 NW, Havre.
How to donate blood
Simply download the American Red Cross Blood Donor App, visit redcrossblood.org or call 1-800-RED CROSS or 1-800-733-2767 to make an appointment or to get more information
All blood types are needed to ensure a reliable supply for patients. A blood donor card or driver’s license or two other forms of identification are required at check-in. Individuals who are 17 years of age — 16 with parental consent in some states — weigh at least 110 pounds and are in generally good health may be eligible to donate blood. High school students and other donors 18 years of age and younger also have to meet certain height and weight requirements.
