Obituary - Mary A. Ereaux

Mary A. Ereaux, 87, of Fort Belknap, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 8, 2015, at Northern Montana Hospital.  

Wake and rosary services will begin at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 15, 2015, at Medicine Bear Lodge in Lodge Pole and will continue until her funeral service, which will be at 11 a.m. on Monday, Feb. 16, 2015. Interment will follow at Beaver Creek Cemetery.

Mary was born May 12, 1927, to Lazure and Alice Ereaux in Fort Belknap. She spent her younger years at Chemawa Boarding School in Oregon where she enjoyed playing basketball.  She returned to Fort Belknap in 1971.  

Mary was a giving person. She never had a bad word to say about anyone. She was wise and had that look which would say it all. A beautiful and caring woman, she will truly be missed by everyone.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Lazure and Alice (Hall); son, Clint Able Jr. "Sunny Boy"; her two brothers, "Butch" Frank Ereaux and "Babe" Lazure  Ereaux Jr.  

She is survived by her children, Bobby (Nancy) Arnold of Virginia, Alice (Francis) Baker of Harlem, Marie (Rocky) Hilliard of Los Angeles, Mary (Mike) Jones of California, John Arnold of Minnesota, Jody (Spencer) Simanton of Zortman, Montana, and Sherry (Chris) Carson of Minnesota; her 13 grandchildren; her 13 great-grandchildren; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
