Hi-Line Athletes of the Week

Brendan Johnson, Harlem Wrestling

The Harlem wrestling team has had a lot of success in recent years. And Brendan Johnson is carrying that torch for the Wildcats into this weekend's Class B-C state wrestling tournament in Billings. Johnson has been ranked No. 1 at 160 pounds all season long, and the 2014 state runner-up is coming off a dominant performance at the Northern B-C divisional tournament this past weekend in Big Sandy.

Johnson, who has suffered just two defeats this season, pinned his way to the Northern B-C title, including a quick fall over Conrad's Tyler Schulz in the championship match.

Katelyn Neibauer, Chinook Girls Basketball

It seems like almost every weekend, Chinook senior Katelyn Neibauer is putting up huge numbers for the defending District 9C champion Sugarbeeters. But this past weekend, Neibauer, who averages 18 points and eight rebounds per game, out-did herself. In Chinook's win over Turner Saturday night, Neibauer dropped 33 points on the Tornadoes, while also grabbing 11 boards. Neibauer also scored 13 points in Friday's win over Shelby.

Neibauer is a two-time All Northern C selection and is also a volleyball and track and field standout for the Beeters.
