The following cases were resolved in Hill County Justice Court by Judge Audrey Barger in October.
Kali Jo Henry, born in 1995, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 178 days suspended, for driving without a valid driver’s license. In a later case, Henry was fined $100 and given a deferred imposition of sentence for obstructing a peace officer or other public servant.

Dawn Marie Zampich, born in 1975, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 172 days suspended and eight days credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, first offense.

Austin Andrew Basinger, born in 1992, forfeited $250 bond for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.
——
Craig Edward Skinner, born in 1945, orfeited $250 bond for owner permitting operation of vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.

Sommer Ann Dodson, born in 1981, was fined $100 and ordered to pay $340.70 in restitution, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, first offense. In a later case, Dodson was fined $85 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for county control of dogs.

Travis Jon Fritz, born in 1977, was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 179 days suspended and one credited, for operating a commercial vehicle with .04 percent blood alcohol concentration, first offense.

Daniel Jake Waldner, born in 1983, was sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days credited, for disorderly conduct, amended from partner or family member assault, causing injury.

Lisa Leanne Cole, born in 1972, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for vicious dog control. In a later case, Cole was sentenced to 180 days in jail, all days suspended, for county control of dogs.

Melinda Rose Cochran, born in 1981, was fined $150 and given a deferred imposition of sentence for criminal possession of marijuana, first offense.

Ronald Bryan Folk II, born in 1996, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 158 days suspended and 22 days credited, for violation of restrictions imposed on probationary driver’s license.

Preston Wade Clark, born in 1980, was fined $1,500 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 150 days suspended and nine credited, for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, third or subsequent offense.

Francine Rochelle Bacon, born in 1975, was fined $100 and sentenced to jail for 180 days, 178 days suspended and two credited, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked.

Brett Milo Gervais, born in 1988, was fined $300 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 179 days suspended and one credited, for operating a vehicle with .08 percent BAC or greater, first offense, amended from aggravated driving under the influence.

Desmond Robert Parker, born in 1995, was fined $250 and given a deferred imposition of sentence for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jessie James Miller, born in 1982, was fined $350 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for operating a vehicle without proof of vehicle insurance, second offense.

Jodi Marie Werk, born in 1987, sentenced to 180 days, all days suspended, for criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Tyler Daniel Deshazo, born in 1991, forfeited $100 bond for speeding on non-interstate, driving 103 mph in a 70 mph zone.

Heather Martell, born in 1983, was fined $250 and given a deferred imposition of sentence for driving without a valid driver’s license, has never possessed one.

A girl born in 1998 was fined $100 for minor in possession, under age 18, first offense.
——
A boy born in 1998 was fined $250 for operating a vehicle without liability insurance, first offense, and fined $200 for driving without a valid driver’s license.

Michelle Rose Jiron, born in 1991, was fined $100 for failure to have child under 6 years old and less than 60 lbs. property restrained.

Rosemary Lois Crebs, born in 1982, was sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for disorderly conduct.

Kathleen Loraine Cochran, born in 1958, forfeited $250 bond for operating a vehicle without liability insurance, first offense.

Althea Lynn Ahenakew, born in 1962, was fined $100 and given a deferred imposition of sentence for theft, obtaining or exerting unauthorized control over property, first offense.

Justin Levi Small, born in 1982, was fined $200 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 176 days suspended, for driving while privilege to do so is suspended or revoked and was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Keith Alan Kessel, born in 1959, forfeited $100 bond for operating a vehicle in excess of gross vehicle weight license.

Pearl Summer Morsette, born in 1982, was fined $350 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, second offense.

Krystyna Louise Pease, born in 1993, was fined $200 and given a deferred imposition sentence for driving without a valid driver’s license, has never possessed one, and was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for failing to carry proof of vehicle insurance, first offense.

Steven R. Fernandez-Lopez, born in 1980, was fined $200 and sentenced to 365 days in jail, 362 days suspended, for partner or family member assault, causing injury.

Jason Daniel Taylor, born in 1988, was fined $100 and sentenced to 180 days in jail, 177 days suspended and two credited, for criminal trespass to property.

Stormy Susan Adams, born in 1990, was fined $100, for speeding on non-interstate, for driving 101 mph in a 70 mph zone.

Alexander L. Rudolph, born in 1992, forfeited $100 bond for hunting, trapping, attempting to hunt or trap or possessing game animal without a license.

Canda Marsha Mcculley, born in 1985, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for operating a vehicle without liability insurance in effect, first offense.

Marcos L Puiggari, born in 1961, forfeited $100 bond for violation of Fish, Wildlife and Parks commission or department orders or rules.

William Taylor Ketchum, born in 1995, was fined $250 and sentenced to 10 days in jail, all days suspended, for operating a vehicle without insurance, first offense.

A boy born in 1998 was fined $100 and given a deferred imposition of sentence for speeding on non-interstate roadway, driving 112 mph in a 70 mph zone.

Michelle N. Healy, born in 1981, was sentenced to 180 days in jail, 175 days suspended, for resisting arrest.

In October, Judge Barger also dealt with 105 tickets resulting in fines of less than $100 or jail sentences of fewer than seven days, and she or the prosecution dismissed 14 charges. One citation was voided by the ticketing agency, nine were transferred to another court and one suspended sentence or deferred imposition of sentencing was revoked and reinstated. Judge Barger also issued nine search warrants and 13 arrest warrants.
