Havre Middle School announces Students of the Month

The Havre Middle School sixth-grade Student of the Month for January is Bryn Lien. Bryn is the daughter of Carrie and Cal Lien. She has three siblings, Avery, Meredith and Madie. Bryn is involved in HMS band. Her other interests include dance, singing and piano.

Bryn's teachers have noted this happy young lady as one of their hardest workers. She is inquisitive and asks intelligent questions. She is meticulous and is careful when doing her work. Bryn comes in wanting to be at school , and her enthusiasm is contagious. What a beautiful young lady. In the future Bryn plans to focus and do well in school.

Carsyn Vogel represents seventh-grade HMS Student of the Month for January. Carsyn is the daughter of Max and Terra Vogel. She has one sister, Alara. Carsyn is very actively involved at HMS, participating in band, jazz band and Junior Helpers and representing the Mustangs on the basketball court. Carsyn also enjoys riding horses, being out in the country, playing the tuba, hunting and riding four-wheelers.

This very special young lady is recognized for doing her best every single day. She is involved in all class discussions and always wants to know more. She is helpful to other students in the class and always treats everyone with kindness and respect. Carsyn plans to go to college and work with animals.

Student of the Month for eighth grade is Gabby Downhour. Gabby is the daughter to Joel Downhour and Michele Gilbertson and stepdaughter to Tammy Downhour. Gabby shares her great family with 13 siblings. Gabby loves animals and enjoys babysitting. She likes walking dogs and helping animals in any way.

Gabby is an incredibly kind and compassionate young woman. She does her best and works hard at everything she does. She is a role model to others to never give up, try your hardest and to treat others with respect. The beautiful attitude of this young woman truly brightens our halls and our days. Gabby's plans include owning a farm, being a vet or a teacher and to help out homeless animals.
