Obituary - Irma Jean Erickson Tweedy

Irma Jean Erickson Tweedy, 73, of Cut Bank passed away on Wednesday, Jan. 21, 2015.

She was born March 17, 1941 in Rolla, North Dakota, to Fred L and Hertha Erickson. Irma graduated from Chinook High School in 1959. She attended Montana State University and graduated in 1963 with a Bachelor of Science in education.

Upon completion of university, Irma taught history, government and physical education in Hamilton and Browning, Montana. Irma married William Tweedy. Thet managed a small family farm.

She is survived by her son, William (Agnes) Tweedy; daughter, Maureen (Tim) Wright; brother, John Roger (Bea) Erickson; grandchildren, Anya Avitranya Charmia Demetria, Tashania Dweyna, Hannah Wright and Heather Wright, She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, William; her parents; and siblings, Lorraine (Don) Steinmetz, Donald Jean Erickson and Fred Erickson,
