Free safety training offered at SafetyFestMT: Lewistown 2015

The Montana Department of Labor and Industry is providing free safety training at its first ever SafetyFest in Lewistown March 10-12.

“Anyone with an interest in safety is welcome to attend,” Labor Commissioner Pam Bucy said in a press release. “We provide high-quality safety training at zero cost to help reduce Montana’s unacceptable workplace injury, illness and fatality rates.”

The three-day training event is set for March 10 - 12, 2015 at the Yogo Inn in Lewistown.

There are more than 30 classes to choose from. Topics include First Aid/CPR/AED, OSHA 10-hour cards for construction and general industry; Work Comp 101, HAZWOPER 8-Hour Refresher; Violence in the Workplace; Cyber Safety; Profiting from Safety and more.

Registration for SafetyFestMT: Lewistown 2015 is now open. Registration will close on Sunday March 1, 2015 at midnight.  People can register at http://www.safetyfestmt.com/safetyfestmt-lewistown-2015.html. All events are free to attend, but registration is required, as seats are limited.
