The city of Havre will get a $500,000 grant from the state of Montana to help build its watsewater treatment plant.
Gov. Steve Bullock and Commerce Director Meg O'Leary made the announcement Monday.
The money will help the city pay for the federally mandated upgrade to the plant.
Bids will be opened next week on the project, which is expected to cost about $8.9 million.
The plant will help the city meet new clean water standards.
