The Montana State University-Northern women's basketball team made it a perfect 4-0 start to Frontier Conference play. On Saturday night, the No. 11 Skylights beat the Rocky Mountain College Battlin' Bears 67-53 in Billings.
With the win, Northern also moved to 19-1 overall. The Skylights will be back home to host UM-Western and Westminster next weekend.
Also on Saturday night, the MSU-Northern men couldn't get past host RMC, as the Lights fell 66-56 in Billings. Northern is now 0-4 in the Frontier and 11-9 overall. The Lights will also host Western and Westminster next weekend.
