Special to the Havre Daily
Andy Meyers and Pam L. Veis will perform a Montana tour of A.R. Gurney's "Love Letters," a unique and imaginative theater piece which is presented, as suggested by the playwright, with scripts in hand.
It is comprised of letters, frequently funny and touching, exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences.
Meyers is the artistic director for Fort Peck Summer Theatre, and Veis an audience favorite with the company who most recently starred in "Driving Miss Daisy." Alicia Bullock-Muth serves as director.
MAT and Fort Peck Summer Theatre will split the box office proceeds or the Havre production.
The proceeds for Fort Peck Summer Theatre will benefit the Fort Peck Fine Arts Council, whose mission is to save and preserve the historic Fort Peck Theatre.
Veis and Meyers are bringing the show to Havre in its Montana tour Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at Montana State University-Northern's Little Theatre. All tickets are $15
