Havre Middle School December students of the month

December's sixth-grade Student of the Month is Kaitlin Morehouse.

Kaitlin is the daughter of Jason Morehouse and Darlene Morehouse and has two brothers, Kory and Kyle. Kaitlin loves to dance and performs with North Star Dance Studio.  

Kaitlin's teachers notice what a sweetheart she is. She is an active participant in class and is positive and upbeat at all times. She is a joy to be around and is very respectful to everyone. Kaitlin plans to be a doctor or a dance teacher.

Jacob Huston represents our seventh-grade for December's Student of the Month. Jacob is the son to Patricia Huston and Stan Huston. He has eight siblings, Jake, Nikki, Randi, Chris, Kane, Levi, Samy and Ryker. Jacob the HMS Mustangs in basketball and enjoys all sports, fishing and being outdoors.

Jacob's teachers recognize what a nice young man and a hard worker he is. Jacob is meticulous and careful with his work. He is well liked by his peers and is pleasant every day. Jacob is positive, likable and charismatic. His plans to go to the University of Florida and study to become a marine biologist.

Student of the Month for December in the eighth grade is Marissa Kuka. Marissa is the daughter of Mindy Kuka and Jeff Holm and has two sisters, Gracie and Gabby. Marissa is active in student council as well as our band and choir. She also enjoys drawing, singing, swimming and reading.

Marissa is a very driven and curious student. No matter the subject or content she always finds a way to learn and understand more. She is very inquisitive and enjoys learning new things. Marissa is always attentive, upbeat and working to improve. Marissa plans to go to college and become a child therapist.
