Havre police set citizens police academy

The Havre Police Department is seeking applicants for its 2015 Citizen’s Police Academy session.

The citizen’s police academy is a nine-week program that is taught by Havre police officers. The academy gives those in the public an inside look at what police work is like.

Topics covered include current laws, rules and regulations, crime scene investigations, firearms shooting and many other aspects of police operations.

Applications can be picked up at the Havre Police Department or by contacting Sgt. Jason Barkus.
