Havre Police Department

An officer investigated a report made at 11:13 a.m. Friday from Assiniboine Avenue that someone had shot out a window of a Volkswagon Super Beetle with a BB gun.

After the dispatcher received a call from 16th Street West at 1:41 p.m. Friday, an officer arrested Paul Dan Root, 20,of Havre on a charge of partner or family member assault.

After a caller from 5th Avenue at 4:20 p.m. reported an erratic driver, an officer at 4:22 p.m. Friday pulled over Fernando Hermisto Bautista, 21, of Havre and arrested him on charges of driving under the influence of intoxicants, careless driving, criminal contempt and probation violation.

An officer investigated a no-injury motor vehicle crash on the curve between 10th and 11th streets near Montana State University-Northern reported at 8:55 p.m. Friday.

An officer investigated a report made at 9:09 p.m. Friday from the 700 Block of 3rd Street that someone had broken into a home.

A caller at 9:45 p.m. Friday from Wilson Avenue reported someone had stolen a dog.

After a caller at 12:51 p.m. Saturday requested a welfare check on a man, an officer arrested James Cedric Cox, 20, of Havre on a charge of criminal contempt.

An officer investigated a report made at 11:21 a.m. Saturday from 1st Street that a man had walked out of a shop without paying for a haircut.

An officer investigated a crash in which the caller from 5th Street and 3rd Avenue at 2:05 p.m. reported at 2:05 p.m. Saturday he had run into a a parked car.

After a caller at 5:46 p.m. Saturday from 2nd Street and 10th Avenue reported a no-injury hit-and-run crash, an officer arrested Christina Mary Converse, 36, of Havre on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked license, careless driving, failure to stop or remain at the scene of an accident, failure to give notice of an accident and criminal contempt.

After a caller from 1st Street at 8:47 p.m. Saturday complained about a snowmobile on her property, with other callers also complaining, an officer issued a summons to Kolton Brough, 20, of Havre on charges of careless driving and failing to drive in a careful and prudent manner.

After a caller from 2nd Street Northeast at 10:58 said a party involving juveniles might be happening, an officer issued summonses on a charge of minor in possession of intoxicants to two 15-year-olds, gender not listed; and to a 16-year-old, gender not listed, on a charge of obstructing a peace officer or public servant; and arrested Tray Lee Eagleman, 22, of Box Elder on a Justice or City court warrant, and at 11:36 p.m. Saturday at a U.S. Highway 2 East location arrested Celisia Leeann Eagleman, 23, of Havre on a charge of endangering the welfare of children and on a Justice or City court warrant.

After a man filed a complaint at the police station at 6:39 p.m. Sunday, an officer issued a summons to Timothy William Mahns, 42, of Lolo on a charge of violation of a protective order.

After a caller from 9th Avenue Northwest complained that a relative had taken her car, an officer pulled over Felicia Pearl Jackson, 32, of Havre on 1st Street West Sunday at 8:30 p.m. and arrested her on a Justice or City court warrant and a state District Court warrant.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy investigated a report of an automobile theft made from a car rental agency at 8:40 a.m. Friday.

A deputy investigated a report made at 10:52 a.m. Sunday that someone broke into a business east of Havre the night before.

After a caller reported at 1:49 p.m. Sunday that someone broke into a coin machine at car wash near Havre, a deputy made an arrest. No details were available on the call log this morning.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Friday, two Sunday and one this morning.

After a caller from the 3500 Block of U.S. Highway 2 East at 6:18 p.m. Sunday reported a fire was burning in the engine compartment of his 2001 Ford Escape, firefighters responded and extinguished the flames. The vehicle was a total loss.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held a female brown, black and white mixed-breed terrier; a male black and white husty;a female black, white and tan mixed-breed pug; a male black and white cat; a female black cat, and a male gray cat.
