Francis L. "Fregon" Saddler, 57, passed away on Saturday, Dec. 20, 2014, at Benefis Medical Center in Great Falls of natural causes. Wake services will begin at 3 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 22, 2014, at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Rocky Boy, and will continue until his funeral Mass, which will be at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 23, 2014. Burial will follow in the St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Rocky Boy. Holland & Bonine Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. Fregon was born on May 20, 1957, in Helena to Mack MacGregor and Christine Saddler. He was raised in Rocky Boy, attending elementary school there, and attended high school in Box Elder. Following his school years, Fregon drove truck for Dick Han and drove water truck and worked the oil rigs.
Fregon enjoyed socializing with family and friends, fishing, hunting and playing pool. In high school, he went to State for the Box Elder wrestling team. He enjoyed Sundancing.
Fregon was preceded in death by his daughter, Holly Saddler; his faith, Mack MacGregor; his sisters, Tina Blatt and Faye Blatt; his brothers, Robert Vance Blatt and Frank Saddler; all of his grandparents; and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is survived by his sons, Billy Saddler of Butte, Josh Raining Bird of Rocky Boy, and Travis LaMere of Great Falls; his mother, Christine Han of Rocky Boy; his brothers, Floyd St. Marks of Havre and Ken (Karen) St. Marks of Rocky Boy; his sister, Kememee Blatt of Rocky Boy; his uncle Joe Saddler of Phoenix, Arizona; and numerous beloved nieces, nephews, cousins and other extended family and friends.
