These actions put the finishing touches on a successful 59th Annual MGGA Convention attended by 879 farmers, agribusiness representatives and guests.
Charlie Bumgarner, a grain producer from the Great Falls area, was installed as MGGA president for the coming year. Elected vice president was Rob Davis of Larslan; Treasurer Tom Butcher of Lewistown; and Secretary Michelle Erickson-Jones of Broadview. Matt Flikkema, Manhattan, will serve as past president.
Re-elected to serve a second term on the board of directors are Chris Maloney, Turner, District 3 and Todd Hansen, Gildford, District 4. Newly elected to a four year term are Josh Stentoft, Froid, District 2 and David Ratzburg, Ledger, District 6. Appointed to represent District 10 is Evan Volf, Judith Gap.
