Havre Middle School sets Christmas concert

The Havre Middle School choir program will present “A Magical, Madrigal Christmas” as its theme for the Christmas concert Thursday at 7 p.m. in the HMS assembly room.

Included in the evening's merriment and fa-la-las will be songs from the Renaissance and early Baroque periods, as well as modern-day favorites.

Featured groups performing will include the sixth-grade and seventh-/eighth-grade choirs, Spotlighters, Treble-Aires and Troubadours, presenting a variety of styles of music.

Everyone is welcome to this no-cost event.

In the Renaissance tradition of giving food as gifts, canned goods will be collected at the concert to benefit the local food banks.
