Havre Police Department

Officers, responding to a 1:56 p.m. Friday report from a 1st Street business of a shoplifter, arrested Morgan Violet Longfox, 22, of Havre on charges of theft by shoplifting and criminal contempt.

Officers, responding to a complaint made at 8:01 p.m. Friday from a 9th Avenue hotel, arrested John John Horseman, 43, of Fort Belknap on charges of disorderly conduct and criminal contempt.

Officers, responding to a motor vehicle accident at 2:34 a.m. Saturday on 2nd Street, issued a summons Jodarryl Gone, 22, of Havre on charges of careless driving, failure to stop and identify self after striking an unattended vehicle and failure to give notice of an accident.

Officers, responding to a call made at 1:13 Sunday afternoon from 2nd Avenue, arrested Steven Allen Stanley, 39, of Box Elder on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Officers, responding to a report made at 2:52 p.m. Sunday from Pepin Park of two men fighting, arrested Matthew Allen Bell, 32, of Havre and Stephen Eric Engelhardt, 32, of Havre, both on a charge of assault, and Sheena Brianne McCarthy, 33, of Havre on a charge of disorderly conduct.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy, responding to a 3:39 p.m. complaint Saturday from a U.S. Highway 2 West business, arrested Jonathan Wade Stump, 31, on charges of theft by shoplifting and disorderly conduct.

A deputy, responding to a request from the Rocky Boy Police Department for assistance at 6:01 p.m. Sunday, arrested Georgie Elaine Russell, 34, of Box Elder on charges of criminal endangerment, fleeing from or eluding a peace officer and driving under the influence of intoxicants.

Montana Highway Patrol

A trooper investigated a crash on 6th Street North at 1 a.m. Friday in which the driver of a 1991 GMC pickup truck lost control of the vehicle in snowpacked and icy conditions. The vehicle rotated clockwise and collided with a mailbox then overturned one-quarter time and came to rest on its driver’s side. The trooper cited the driver, Cody M. Thompson, 22, of Havre on charges of DUI, second offense, and careless driving.

Havre Fire Department

Havre Fire Department emergency medical technicians responded to one call Saturday and two calls Sunday.

Havre Animal Shelter

The shelter this morning held a black, white and tan, male heeler mixed-breed dog.
