Suspended Chippewa Cree tribal chair Ken St. Marks has won his effort to have the results of the special election upheld.
A tribal appeals court has ruled that the tribe's election committee was wrong in overturning St. Marks' election as chair.
St. Marks was sworn into his position shortly after 3 p.m. Thursday. He made an attempt to have the four newly elected members of the business committee sworn in to no avail.
St. Marks said he will begin work as tribal chair of the Chippewa Cree as soon as possible.

G... All tribal finance took off to Vagas, droped everything and booked. Only one election member present, what poor representation on there behalf, But I guess it doesn't matter a chairmen has been sworn in, now the new members should be sworn in, so they can let this investigation continue and get to the bottom of this corruption, and this should include every department.
