A deputy in the lobby of the Hill County jail Tuesday at 4:09 p.m. served a state District Court warrant on Mindy L. Henderson, 38, of Rocky Boy.

A deputy issued a warning to the driver of a black truck which a caller reported at 6:11 p.m. Tuesday was trespassing on private property near Smithville.

A deputy investigated a report made from a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business at 6:16 p.m. that a business camera had recorded someone shoplifting.
Havre Fire Department
Havre firefighters responded to a 9:07 a.m. call Tuesday from a residence on Wilson Avenue with the residents reporting a smell of something hot or burning. The smell came from some plastic that had burned on a stove, and no action was needed.

Havre firefighters responded at 4:41 p.m. Tuesday to a fire alarm that went off at an apartment building on Jefferson Avenue from which the tenants had evacuated. The alarm had malfunctioned and no action was needed.

Havre firefighters responded to an alarm from an apartment building on the 100 Block of 34th Avenue that was caused by a toddler pulling an alarm. No further action was needed.
