Havre Police Department

The department took a call at 8:12 Monday morning from a U.S. Highway 2 East business in which the caller reported a green Ford pickup’s engine block heater was plugged into the business’ power outlet.

Officers responding to a call from Havre Middle School at 11:15 a.m. Thursday issued summonses on a charge of underage tobacco consumption to each of two youths, 13, and 14.

An officer issued a summons at the Havre Police Department at 12:01 p.m. Thursday to Cody James Brewer of Chinook, 21, on a charge of criminal contempt for an alleged 24/7 Sobriety Program violation.

Officers responding to a complaint made from a 1st Street gas station at 12:08 p.m. Thursday that a person might be driving drunk arrested Timothy Wayne Coleman, 53, of Havre on a charge of driving with a suspended or revoked driver’s license.

Officers investigated a two-vehicle noninjury crash on 5th Avenue between a Chevrolet Silverado and a Chevrolet Impala reported at 4:56 p.m. Thursday.

Officers were unable to locate a German shepherd that a caller from 2nd Street reported running loose and chasing cats at 5:37 p.m.

Officer took a stray cat to the Havre Animal Shelter after a caller reported the cat in an alley on 10th Street.

Officers issued a warning to a Havre resident after a caller from 2nd Street reported a dog barking outside at 9:25 p.m.

Hill County Sheriff’s Office

A deputy served a state District Court warrant on Frank Williams Twobulls, 45, of Box Elder at the county jail at 1:12 p.m. Thursday.

A deputy responding to a call from the 3400 Block of U.S. Highway 2 East at 7:16 Thursday night reporting a woman and her boyfriend fighting issued a summons to Marlayna Shanelle Snow of Harlem, 23, on a charge of possession of a toxic substance.

Havre Fire Department

Havre Fire Department emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Thursday morning.

Havre firefighters responded to a report at 9:31 a.m. Thursday from 2nd Street of the caller seeing smoke or steam coming from a residence. When the firefighters arrived, no smoke or steam was coming from the residence.

A boy was born Nov. 12, 2014, to Marnie and Cody Smith of Havre.
